Cozy's premature death in 1998 shocked all who knew him. A human metronome, Cozy was the ultimate time-keeper and heavy rock drummer. I have great memories recording, rehearsing and touring with him. Despite his volatile reputation, he was one of the most gentle and sincere people I've ever met. I'll never forget him.
