His 'Pure Guitar' album was released at the same time as my album 'The Magician'. We did a couple of interviews and played 'live' together on BBC radio, becoming good friends in the process. Carlos came to visit in July 2007, we drank lots of whisky (evident from the photo!), laughed like crazy and played Spanish guitars all night :-)
